Tunes on Tuesday - Kevin Danzig hosted by Leon Littlebird

Kevin Danzig is no “spring chicken”.  He’s more like an “EAGLE of ALL SEASONS”. A veteran of the singer-songwriter/indie folk-rock scene for over 30 years, he will be releasing his 11th studio album on August 19, 2022 (at the Vilar Theatre Beaver Creek (opening for AMERICA!) It includes 12 new original compositions that range from the folky pop style of “The Best of Friends” to the bluesy swamp rock sounds of “Fishbowl”. It’s hard to put your finger on Kevin’s so called “genre” because he fashions himself after his favorite performing songwriters.  Artists like Joni Mitchell, Peter Gabriel, David Bowie, Ray La Montagne, Beck, Paul Simon, Van Morrison, and of course The Beatles. His music carries elements of all these icons. He, like them often defy categorization.
